A year after its inaugural edition, Asia's premier craft distilling convention returns to Bangkok for another round of concentrated knowledge sharing and high-level networking.
Once again, distillAsia will host the vanguard of the region's craft spirits industry at the Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
Expanded format
The format of distillAsia 2026 has been expanded to cover two days instead of one. A series of technical presentations and workshops will be held on March 26 and 27, 2026.
During these sessions, a lineup of professional distillers and other industry experts are provided a platform to impart their hard-earned insights on a variety of topics. Day 1 is set to commence at 13:00 and conclude at 18:00, followed by a social event in the evening. Day 2 will kick off at 09:00 and run till 18:00.
Furthermore, a trade fair centered on the production of craft spirits has been added to this year's programme. The only marketplace of its kind in the region, this "Craft Expo" offers leading suppliers the opportunity to showcase premium raw ingredients as well as the latest developments in production equipment and process aids. The expo will take place on Day 2 of the conference.
Talking points
By way of its carefully compiled programming, distillAsia 2026 aims to address the challenges faced by industry professionals without losing sight of the opportunities presented by a rapidly changing world.
The latest trends, techniques, and technologies driving the Asian spirits industry forward will be examined. In addition, tactics conducive to unlocking growth will be highlighted.
Topics of discussion will range from raw material sourcing and quality control to the utilisation of modern process aids in the development of unique flavour profiles. Effective marketing and branding strategies are also on the agenda, along with mechanisms for scaling up.
LevelHeads at distillAsia
We are excited to announce that LevelHeads Advisory has been designated an active role in the proceedings for a second year in a row.
Chris Roberts, co-founder of LevelHeads Advisory, will be hosting a workshop on "Legal, IP & Governance: Building A Spirits Brand That Can Scale", scheduled for Day 2 of the conference.
Following co-founder Oliver Woods' marketing workshop at the inaugural edition of distillAsia last year, the rest of the LevelHeads team will be in attendance as well.
Crafting spirits, building connections
On top of providing attendees with the tools required to gain a competitive edge, distillAsia 2026 is an ideal setting to connect with leading experts from across the region and beyond. Whether it be distillers, suppliers, or brand executives, all those present will be keen to foster collaborations that can potentially fuel innovation.
At LevelHeads, we are certainly looking forward to the occasion. Hope to see you there!
